CFO-level thinking, sized to your business.
Forecasts, budgets, KPIs and a monthly review with a senior finance lead, without a full-time CFO salary.
Who it’s for
- Founders and owners making hiring, pricing and spending decisions without a cash forecast.
- Companies preparing for a raise, a loan or a board that need numbers an outsider can rely on.
- Businesses with a bookkeeper but no one turning the numbers into decisions.

Virtual CFO lead
Chartered Accountant · 3 years in finance
Our work includes financial statement analysis, cash-flow forecasting, performance analysis and financial data review, along with due diligence assignments across sectors including MedTech, solar and engineering. We have also worked extensively on statutory and tax audits, income-tax assessments and litigation, ROC/MCA compliance, corporate restructuring, share transactions, and documentation for partnerships and family trusts.
Pricing approach
A fixed monthly retainer, set by scope and how often we meet, and agreed in writing before work starts.
One-off projects, such as a fundraising model or a budget build, are priced separately and agreed in writing. See engagement models and pricing.
Virtual CFO questions
Is this the same as hiring a CFO?
No. It is a part-time senior finance lead with a team behind them, sized to what your business needs each month. You get the planning and the review without a full-time salary.
Do we have to use your bookkeeping too?
No, though it helps. If someone else keeps your books, we agree a close date with them so the monthly review always uses final numbers.
Do you support due diligence?
Yes: Buy-side and sell-side due diligence support, alongside the forecasts and data your buyers, investors or lenders will ask for. We don’t act as a broker and we don’t give investment advice.
How often do we meet?
Monthly as standard: a review call after your pack is delivered. Some clients add a short fortnightly cash check-in during busy periods.
Who owns the models?
You do. Forecasts and budgets are built in files you own, and they stay with you if the engagement ends.
