Capacity for your firm, without adding headcount.
Audit workpapers, bookkeeping and back-office support, prepared by accounting-trained staff, reviewed in-house, and delivered under your firm’s name.

Busy season shouldn’t decide which clients you can take on.
Hiring is slow, experienced staff are hard to keep, and partners end up preparing work they should be reviewing.
We take on preparation so your team can focus on review, advisory and client relationships. You keep the client, the judgement and the sign-off. We add trained hands, a second check, and a process you can see.
Work we take on for firms.
Prepared in your format, to your standards, and reviewed by us before your team sees it.

Your firm retains professional responsibility and final review. We prepare; you sign. We don’t issue opinions, sign returns or take on independence-restricted work for your clients.
Your software, your templates, your review.
Nothing about your workflow has to change for us to fit into it.
- We work inside your firm’s own systems, through accounts your firm controls.
- We follow your workpaper templates and tickmark conventions, written down in a procedures file for your firm.
- Each file goes through a LedgerShore preparer and a LedgerShore reviewer before it reaches your reviewer.
- A shared tracker shows the status of every file, so you never have to chase.
How a file moves through the tracker
- Received
The file and prior-year papers arrive in your shared workspace.
- In preparation
Your assigned preparer works it to your template and checklist.
- LedgerShore review
A second accountant reviews it and clears every note.
- Sent to your firm
The file is ready for your reviewer, with a short handover note.
Scale up for busy season. Scale back after.
Add reviewed capacity when your deadlines need it, on terms agreed before the work starts.
Seasonal capacity
Extra reviewed capacity for your peak months, for example January to April and September to October.
Per-file overflow
Send individual files when your team is full, priced per file and agreed before we start.
Your clients never need to know who prepared the file, and their data never leaves your control.
- An NDA with your firm, and an individual confidentiality agreement with every LedgerShore team member.
- Access only through accounts your firm provisions, or a virtual desktop your firm controls.
- Client data is never stored on personal devices or local drives.
- A data processing agreement, available on request.
Try us on a small batch of files before you commit.
Send us a small batch of real work under NDA. We’ll prepare it to your standards, you review it, and you decide whether to continue.
What your firm gets from the pilot
- A review-note log for every file, so you can see exactly what we caught and what you caught
- A debrief call to go through the files and the review notes
- A written proposal for the season ahead, if you want one
Questions partners ask us
If you need something in writing for your engagement letter or quality management file, ask us and we’ll send it.
Who signs off on the work?
Your firm does. We prepare; you sign. Your firm keeps professional responsibility for the engagement, the opinion, independence and final review. Our preparer and our reviewer check every file before it reaches your reviewer.
Do you work in our audit software?
We work inside your firm’s own systems, through accounts your firm provisions and controls, and follow your workpaper templates and tickmark conventions, written down in a procedures file for your firm. Tell us which tools you use on the discovery call.
What’s your turnaround in busy season?
We agree a turnaround for each file type before the season starts, and plan capacity against your deadline calendar.
How do you handle review notes?
Every note goes into a log against the file. The preparer clears it, our reviewer checks the fix, and recurring notes are added to your procedures file so they don’t come back next time.
How is pricing structured?
A fixed monthly fee for client bookkeeping you hand over to us, or a fixed fee per file for busy-season and overflow work. Each is agreed in writing before work starts. See engagement models.
